Adverb – Manner Adverbs in Workplace Tasks

  • Manner adverbs describe *how* an action is done – carefully, quickly, politely, etc.
  • In Swedish they usually come directly after the verb or at the end of the clause.
  • They answer the question *hur?* (how?) and never change form.
  • Do not confuse them with adjectives, which describe nouns and must agree in gender and number.
  • Pay attention to the tone and context of each sentence to choose the right adverb.
